US Ignition

U.S. Ignition Products is a manufacture of industrial igniters and flame rods used in ovens, burners, process heaters, corn dryers and boilers. They manufacture all their products in the USA here in Chadwick Illinois and they use the best American made materials available.

All of their ceramics are formed from 95% pure Alumina and we use Kanthal D which is outstanding for temperature, strength and rigidity. Kanthal is made from iron, chromium and aluminum and has a higher temperature rating than its competitor alloy nichrome (80% Ni, 20% Cr). Kanthal performace characteristics are:

•Higher maximum element temperature of 1425°C (2600°F) compared to 1250°C (2280°F)
•Longer Life 2-4 times longer
•Higher surface load
•Higher resistivity
•Lower density
•No spalling oxide - which could contaminate the goods or furnace.

Every igniter and flame rod is 100% tested prior to shipment to ensure it's performance. Each part is labeled with their logo and part number for easy identification and is shipped in it's own individual container.
